One of our favorite moments fromI'LL SEE YOU IN MY DREAMS, is when Carol and Lloyd step out to karaoke. Lloyd (Martin Starr) certainly entertains with his rendition of "I Think We're Alone Now", but it's Carol's (Blythe Danner) soulful rendition of the jazz standard "Cry Me a River," that truly caught our attention.

Full Disclaimer: Some of us in the Bleecker Street offices are (very) serious about our karaoke. Some may have even been inspired enough by DREAMS to pull out our own interpretations of "Cry Me a River" during our last karaoke excursion. In fact, it has us thinking about some of our favorite songs from movies and realizing what a perfect karaoke theme night that would be!

This Is Your Karaoke Challenge:

No songs may be sung unless they are from a movie.

Uh oh! What are you going to do now that you can't fall back on your rendition of "Love Shack?" To be fair, "Love Shack" is probably in a movie somewhere, but that's not keeping with the spirit of this challenge. Your song should be a "featured" song from a movie soundtrack. And "classic" songs are always popular.
